Surfing Labels

Thanks to my husband, I found out there are so many different 'new worlds' in this planet.
And surfing scene is one of them.
I don't surf yet(well I tried once in Hawaii and got smashed against the surfing board),
but as a wife of a man who surfs I couldn't help being interested in surfing.

According to my short experience, just being on the surfboard was real hard,
needless to say the shocks of waves.
At that point I thought it would be better wear a wetsuit.(even better a stylish wetsuit!)
I got a pair from Roxy I remember,
but I should have known before there are chicer brands than that.

is a 100% locally crafted Californian brand
pursues retro modern styling mixed with contemporary colors and prints.

Italy native Amanda Chinchelli is a founder and designer of Seea.
When she was little she used to live on the island of Ilhabela, Brazil,
which made her connected with the ocean early enough.
And her Italian sensibility definitely allows her
to beautifully combine colors making clothes for women who enjoy the sea.

It looks like people who has spent their childhood near sea
naturally becomes water friendly, like her or like my husband.(maybe me.. too.)

Seea wants women who surf to feel comfortable as well as protected from the sea
and the wind through their designs and fabrics.
They don't have variety of collection but each piece looks unique and functional.

Tallow is an Australian Brand created by Ali Mandalis and Shannon Clynes.
They met each other working for Insight, a famous Aussie brand.
There, they were the only two girls who surfed, so they soon became close and consequentially it made them a strong bond.

Ali and Shannon attach great importance to the surfing's message of freedom and individuality.

 URBAN OUTFITTERS http://blog.urbanoutfitters.com/blog/surf_daze_interviews_tallow

One of the interesting features of the label Tallow is that
each season, they collaborate with lots of emerging artists.
As a result of that fun work they proudly introduce collections of wetsuits,
swimwear and apparel as well, including accessories.
Tallow also has been pickup up at Urban Outfitters this year.

Lots of information is neatly contained on their website, also the sale products!

When you start surfing or when you simply need a different swimsuit from others,
it would be a great idea to search surfing brands.
